Bought a couple of rib eyes from here on sunday – was on the more expensive side but my god was it worth every penny. Hands down one of the best steaks i’ve eaten – 100% worth it for special occasions!!

Bought some delicious chicken kebabs – marinated in chilli lime & ginger. Also a pot of Balti curry sauce which is the closest I have ever had to an Indian restaurant sauce.

If you want meat go to Tescos, if you want a high quality product, whilst putting money into local business, then go to Lloyds.

Best butchers in town! Beef brisket and stuffed porchetta pork joint I recently had were delicious and really tasty. Sausages great too and all at a very reasonable price considering the quality and variety of meat available.

Absolutely delicious meat, got a range of meats and flavours for a variety of weekly dinners. The flavoured sausages are especially brilliant!!! Great customer service and my new favourite butchers!

I wondered into this lovely butchers on a whim & enquired if they could supply an American cut of beef! Matt on the spot found the relevant cut & prepared it for me! The steak turned out to be the best I’ve ever had & Lloyds has become my go to butcher.

Bought a piece of rump steak yesterday as advised by the friendly and helpful butcher, ate same evening: superb! Can thoroughly recommend, will be going back ( we unfortunately don’t live in Saffron Walden)

High quality meat, the sirloin and rump steaks are very tasty! He is also very accommodating with special orders requests.

Matt really knows his stuff – I have bought pork belly, brisket, sausages and bacon from him and all have been top notch. A great premium addition to the Saffron Walden butcher scene!

We recently moved here and visited this butchers to give it a try. When we entered we was met with possibly the cleanest butchers I’ve ever seen, and the biggest smile from the owner. The meats all look great and we got a nice variety to try and the price was super reasonable. The packaging too is amazing as it’s freezer safe.
